Juban Lamar

Juban is a fourth generation Unitarian from Jowai, committed to lay leadership engagement in community, and social justice. 

She is a lens-based visual artist/ researcher and filmmaker whose work centres around notions of gender, identity, oral storytelling, memory, conservation and movement-based environmental portraiture. 

She loves taking long walks, being out in nature and staring at the stars or a tree— and maybe conversations over a nice warm cup of chai.
